I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is quite impressive.

But I must know, is it a Swingline?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Gud, thanks for that list. I'm depressed now, though. Why did VW nuke the VR6? There go my chances of getting another one -- I compared all their engine specs, and the VR6 is better than the V6.

The Mini is a appealing -- but I wonder if the cute would get to me in the end. In the bad way of get to, I mean. This is why I never research before buying, dammit.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Why did VW nuke the VR6?

Cause it made her angry.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Why did VW nuke the VR6?

It's the only way she had to be sure.

Swouncing

nonstop blanket coverage

Yeah, it's this phase of "this is news so we have to talk about it" and "um, we have nothing to say, do we?". We always get those, too.

Me: (thinking fast)

Robin, the staplers' charmerer.

Robin, I have to say, I don't know if it was such a good idea that you gave her a functioning stapler. I fear she is going to manage to staple her ear to the floor. Or possibly another coworker.

Always Anti-fascist!

Was it a Slimline?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Excuthe me, you have my stapler.

Coding and Sleeping

Why did VW nuke the VR6?

Well, the Jetta is an all-new car this year and only has a five cylinder engine available. Maybe in a year or two they will offer it with their 3.2L V6 which is just a bigger version of the old 2.8L V6 in the Jetta VR6.

The question was pretty much why not come out of the gate with a VR6 too? It's a lovely drive, one that made the Jetta feel almost as fun as a Beemer, but for cheaper (and less lovely insides, natch). Now, to match that ride, I'm looking at compact luxury cars. That's no good.
