I look more rad than Lutheranism

It ain't over until the fat man homers.

Holy Snerkity. REDS WIN, REDS WIN!

We just did a victory jig in my office.

I can't even.

Which up until last October was two more than the Sox had.

To be fair, the Jays only started in 1977, but I thought it was unfair to pass over 60 other years of unrequited toil and strife by some clubs.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Told ya she'd coming dancing back into the thread...

I can't even.

We just did a victory jig in my office.

The faded and battle-worn old Reds pennant in my office window just got waved up and down at oblivious passers-by.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I'll be the first to admit that the Red Sox sucked royally and consistently for decades. And then, in those brief moments when they ceased sucking, they got melodramatic, the better to begin sucking with. It's refreshing to break the cycle.

Holy Snerkity. REDS WIN, REDS WIN!

Poor Pedro. Go for the big-bucks contract, leave your above-average bullpen behind. At least he gets a no-decision, right?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That said, I bet grade school leagues do not have pitchers that throw in the 90s, so the balls, even off metal bats, do not come back at 100mph.

No but they can throw the ball hard enough to break a nose.

Fuckety. A's are down 4-0. So much for Zito's new and improved attitude.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

At least he gets a no-decision, right?

Yeah, the Mets were leading going into the bottom of the 9th, until the closer (Looper) gave up back-to-back home runs. It was really ugly.

Settle down, missy, it's opening day (more or less). Baseball will probably be a marginal presence until the playoffs.
