Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

April 16th, Nilly. I was out shopping for centerpieces today.

I got big glass bowls, which I'll fill partly with pretty polished colored stones, and then water, and float flower petals on the water and floating candles. We have lots of lighting effects, and I thought the water on the tables would have a cool reflecting effect.

Swouncing

Which, really, all you need to know is that I'm tired as hell, but almost done. I have ass to kick, and a back not to injure doing so.

Almost done is good, kicking you can do with your pinkie, and back~ma is coming your way.

April 16th

Oh, weekend after next, right? I hope this party treats you nicer than the former one.

then water, and float flower petals on the water and floating candles

That sounds absolutely gorgeous.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I'm not willing to trade away any of my years (quite the opposite, but I'm sad how little it can feel I did with the time)

Yes. This.

I totally forgot about the party. That all about me thing. I wish I could come, but will settle for sending best wishes and much ~ma for the last minute rush. The bowls and water and flowers and lighting effects sound all kinds of pretty.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

For what it's worth, ita, I don't think you're old.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Tom!

Oh poor Frances and folks. I hope it passes quickly for her, Burrell. It's tough when babies have a stomach virus--tough on them and their parents.

ita, you're not old. You're just a grown up.

I hate when the clocks change in this direction, and yet? I'm up earlier than ever. I woke at 4:30, which would have just been 3:30 yesterday. Now it's 5:45, which would have been 4:45. I'm going to need the biggest nap in the world, after church, and good luck to me, getting it.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Happy Birthday, Tom!!!

I'm up, and I don't care. Daylight savings day is one of my favorite days of the year.

Happy birthday Tom!

Ugh. I'm up. Combination of training myself to DST, being an idiot and having caffeine at 7 pm last night and needing to get stuff done before I go babysit for an afternoon. I'd LOVE to go back to bed, but if I did, I probably wouldn't wake up until noon. And that's a little late.

It seems to have stopped raining.

Paper dude needs to deliver my sunday paper.

information libertarian

I'm up super-late for me, but then was up much in the night with the wee one, who is, like Franny, recovering from a stomach bug. She threw up in the grocery store too - whee!

In sad news my baby sister has gotten rejected from most of her colleges and wait-listed from the 2 I thought she'd get into (Smith and BU). She got into UC, but then who doesn't? I think she has had poor support and advice (I know she has had poor parental support and advice). I really need to get her out of Cincinnati (no offense to our lovely Cincinnatian, but she needs her horizons broadened and to get away from her parents). I suppose she can do a year and transfer, but I'm afraid this is the molasses that will keep her stuck forever.
