No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Such a beautiful day here. I climbed, and had yummy lunch and beer in a lovely garden with jasmine blooming everywhere, and bought stuff at the garden supply store. Now I have planted two calla lilies, mowed the lawn, trimmed the jade tree, and put in a trellis for my bougainvillea.

I know I need to do my taxes, but I feel so lazy. Can't I just hang about? Won't the taxes do themselves?

The status is NOT quo.

'suela, I don't know if I've told you this, but I so adore your tagline.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I disagree with some significant parts of what the Pope taught, to the point of feeling almost personally oppressed -- BUT I also agree 100% with other things he taught, particularly his advocacy for peace. Right now, when peace seems impossible to achieve almost everywhere -- in the Middle East, between the US and other countries, and even between Americans -- a bright light has gone out.

Tep, you and I are as one on this.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Sorry, but I can't join in with the Pope love, what with being part of the Ideology of Evil and all. But I will wish him many interesting conversations with Biblical figures now that he's passed on.

Like Judas Iscariot, for example.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I can't say that I loved the Pope, but I admired his dedication to peace. He was an imperfect human in a daunting role -- who would want to be God's representative on earth? -- and, by my judgment, failed in a lot of areas. But not all. Definitely not all.

What is even happening?

I'm in the same corner regarding the pope, as Teppy and Plei.

sumi, I was waiting for you all day, re Joan of Arcadia. I even stalked hunted down your lj, but there was no JoA, there. I am still traumatized .

Art Crawl!!!

I was going to say something last night but it felt inappropriate in the face of Sean's trauma re: his dead car.

Are you ready to be strong?

I am eating chocolate and I have pretty flowers in my hair.

Hi Rio.

I didn't think you were fond of chocolate.

Are you ready to be strong?

I didn't use to be. I trained myself to like it. Good memory!
