Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I think I'm losing weight, despite the fact that I eat junk for all my meals. Which just goes to show that dancing really is the most awesome activity on earth.

ETA: RIP, John Paul.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

It's weird. I went to check CNN's web site to see how he was doing.

Check the time that story was posted on CNN (3:27pm EST).

Now look at what time my post hit the board.

I think I killed Schroedinger's Pope by looking in the box.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Sean killed the Pope.

RIP.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sean killed the Pope.

He's why we can't have nice popes?

Angel should be pope. Or a rock star.

Sean killed the Pope.

And the Minister lives up to his billing.

Requiescat in Pace, Your Holiness. I remember when he was elected. It's kind of like seeing a relative you don't agree with but still respect die.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It's kind of like seeing a relative you don't agree with but still respect die.

Exactly this. Requiescat in Pace, John Paul II.

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, it could be that Sean's "job" is bleeding over to his personal life.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

Hello, all. I turned on the radio just now and the Beeb World Service is having special coverage. Ten different national leaders have said, "Yep, he's dead." Good thing Popes don't die very often, because hello to the wall-to-wall coverage.

Had brunch this morning with our own Ellen S. We discussed the difference between parody and satire, and I could not get her to agree with me (except to the facts that both Seinfeld and Orwell are irritating and need to go away).

Now I am being responsible, and I hate that.

Mostly lurking...

Too funny, Nutty. I was thinking of calling one of you guys to see if you wanted to help me avoid my homework by going shopping. I've decided to do homework, though. I hate the responsible thing too. Weekends are for fun, dammit!
