brillig

a gay Colonial theme

'Cause, yeah, the first thing I think of when the phrase Founding Fathers goes through my head is "Yeah, they are so doing it."

Not.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Car towed and safely parked in gf's parking space at her apartment. Some time next week, I'll take it to a mechanic and figure out how much it will cost to fix.

This is really the worst day I've had in a while. Woof. I feel quite defeated.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm glad you got the car moved. I hope tomorrow goes better for you.

Weirdfrog says: ( Am I in the right place, even?) (and speaks gently and quietly in an honest effort not to startle...just yet...) "Hello Buffistae...I've been hearing about youse guise for years...( dark rumours, warnings, and various forebearances...) but have only just recently found myself lurking about the premises, having been busy elsewhere."

...D'y'all have any idea of what you've done to my life lately? Do you? ...of course you do... ...I've spent 24 out of the last 72 hours perusing the "Buff Dive" archives. No, really: 24, at least. --I've heard it said that laughter is good for the heart. I hope so, 'cause my liver is killin' me... --Fer cryin' out loud, I have to get to work on time at least TWICE a week! --And the really scary part is, I'm just now running into repeats...and then only occasionally. --Three days I've been checking out the archives, and still I find good stuff... --You people are freaky. Seriously. Freaky. ...heh-heh...thanks. It's been a hoot. see ya soon. --weirdfrog.

Our wings are not tired.

I just saw an ad for gay tourism in Philadelphia, with a gay Colonial theme.

City of Brotherly Love. When I lived there (1973) it was a gay friendly city. Don't know about now.

eta: Hi froggy. Sorry about the painful side stitch and all. Don't we have warnings posted about this.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Timelies! That is all.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That baby is insanely cute. She looks like she has an actual personality already.

Rio, she's a smartass. The dog did something dumb (iirc he attempted to jump up on a chair and missed) and Emma raised one eyebrow and just stared and the fallen Ollie. I nearly fell over laughing.

What is even happening?

Joan of Arcadia last night?

Yeooouch. Also Snyder!!!!! :) But mostly? Yeooouch! Right now we hates Adam, we does. Yeah, he's heartbroken too, whatev. Where's my poor woobie Joan? Mrs. Landing-God and I need to take her home, wrap her up, feed her comfort foods, and watch old movies with her.
