Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nothing I've seen online has really stopped me from getting to what I needed to, so the pranking isn't bothering me.

Of course, the world is whirling merrily around my head, so what's a prank got to offer?

You know what?

I'm getting really sick of hearing about significant job-related decisions that come out of a review first from the media instead of, I dunno, the board making the decisions? HQ? Head of operations?

Way to build loyalty.

If I only had a brain...

I always knew the universe rotated around ita.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The exact thing happened at my company, sara, where a series of layoffs were mentioned in the press before they were announced to the employees.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's horrifying. I'm just as glad not to work places that are covered by the media, mostly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I got something useful done today! I just called to have my cable (internet and TV) disconnected here and installed up north.

Maybe it's time for a shower, or a nap.

It's just maddening. Part of it is a BIG tension between the appointed politics of the umbrella organization and the core mission of our little bit. There is a lot of alienation that is now fundamentally built in. Well, not built, but...well, it got added. Stupid politics. Basically, the official party line is that our project? They don't care about. They want it gone. I guess this is manifesting itself in careless communication.

(I'm sitting here, trying to be somewhat cryptic and figuring so much so it doesn't make sense unless you know. Oh well.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got something useful done today!

Me too! I opened a joint checking account with JZ.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Frankly, I'm finding all the April Fool's jokes I'm seeing online to be tiresome. Could be I'm just in a crappy mood today, though.

Every page where an organization or blog (LJ or pagesixsixsix, for example) announces a change to its core mission or function-- it's tired, people. I haven't seen anything particularly clever today.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I don't know. I enjoyed Google Gulp. Especially the last bit, right before they link to their privacy policy, and the FAQ on it.

I have a headache today, but I took Excedrin, and it's beginning to go away. I hope ita's problems are similarly quick to disperse. Because hers sound freaky and weird.

I have the songs from "Reefer Madness" stuck in my head. Particularly Alan Cumming singing, "turning all our children into hooligans and whores." Which isn't any better than "You're the Top" (from "Anything Goes") which was stuck in my head yesterday.

My plans for the day include eating some pancakes which I will make in a couple of minutes, buying milk and excedrin, going swimming, going to work, going to the theatre to work my makeup magic, and going to dance class. Also, making some random phone calls. There is no pranking on my list, and that is how I'm happiest, but I have no problems with other people having fun, so long as they leave me out of it.
