Did other people (besides Nicole, who said she was half watching) watch?

As JZ notes, it was sitting there TiVoing away after Lost. It was well crafted and had an excellent light touch / roguish quality. They hammered on the various character/plot moments just a wee bit to make all these new characters stand out.

"Hi, I'm the gay badass black private eye with a history of mental breakdown."

"And I TOTALLY got your back, man."

"I, however, am the supercompetent and utterly slippery guy with no moral code, yet am just barely endearing."

"You bastard - why did you make me love you?"

I'm drinking wine at my desk, which always feels ultradecadent. Because not only am I being paid to drink wine, the wine was free. So were the many delicious pot stickers and the huge bowl of fresh berries and fresh whipped cream. And a chocolate covered strawberry as big as a toddler's fist.

I watched Alias today, too, and I enjoyed it muchly.

I just about peed myself laughing. But I am strange with the spork love. Ask Gud.

Hee. It was a fun ep. But the wig in this episode looked like a dead matte cat draped on Syd's so-not-Latina head.

I forgot about Eyes. I'll try to catch it next week.

I ususally change to sweats or pjs something in that vein when I come home, and then I strip them off to go to bed. I'll stay in them on weekends until I have a compelling reason to change. (Dog walking and coffee shop don't count - I'll do those in pj's, no prob.)

I find her PoV thought-provoking, but am not comfortable with the urgency with which she reveals what she admits are fleeting thoughts and half-truths to the world, including her kids.

We actually agree here, but I'm finding the virulence of the reaction more discomforting than I do her columns (the few I've read).

Erin, agreed. I snorked at the spork line even though I knew it was coming. The wig was terrible. And the dancing bit? At first I thought, "why is she doing the macarena?"

Damn. I have an urge to see Sin City now. They did the premiere at the theater across the street from where my spanish class meets. It fucked up traffic but good.

But, then I saw a trailer, it looks really good. want to see it now.

OK so Allyson so didn't live up to her promise of making a jackass out of herself. She was cool and smart and all that stuff. Boy, you just can't trust anyone nowadays! (Allyson, you did great!)

I want to see Sin City too. They've been pimping the hell out of it on SpikeTV.

And Allyson always sounds good on the radio. I am jealous of her poise and ability to not sound like a dork.
