Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Why, why, why are we making it our business to listen? This sort of thing happens everyfrickingday.

This. This is my feeling exactly. I, personally, have no place in this debate, and neither does most of the American public, nor its legislature.

Huh. Odd double-post.

I will add that the first floor of our building has a HUGE screen with FOX news on it most of the time, and it's been impossible to avoid. It's also been impossible for me to mutter "shut the fuck UP, already" as I go past it every.single.day.

If I only had a brain...

This 911 call is hysterical.

"You're supposed to protect me."
"From what? A wrong cheeseburger?"

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

The attorney for the Schindlers said something today about how "the nation is mourning".

People, especially people with a national pulpit need to STOP FRELLING SPEAKING FOR ME. I DON'T BELIEVE THE SAME THINGS THAT YOU DO, STOP ACTING LIKE I DO.

What kind of socket? USB? FireWire? Fiber optic? Punch card reader?

The BuffyBot was USB-compatible.

If I only had a brain...

She had all sorts of interfaces, didn't she?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The BuffyBot was USB-compatible.

1.1 or 2.0?

tommyrot - Mar 31, 2005 10:00:12 am PST #1907 of 10001
Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

1.1 or 2.0?

Achk! Amych beat me to it....

1.1 or 2.0?

You'd have to ask Willow.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

In re Aimee's post above, this all is more and more like a bad (and incredibly long) Law & Order script every minute.

Dr. Sanjay Somebody

Sanjay Gupta, I think. Sort of a standard medical talking head, like Bob Arnott on ABC. There's also a TV doctor named Ramachandran, who is the most entertaining guy evar, but he is strictly PBS, AFAIK.
