blah The dog threw up (at least on the tile), and one of my big house plants has mealybugs. I think I should take my coffee cup and go back to bed.

Laura, I second that motion. Can I go home from work now, too? I know it's only 9AM, but I'm really sleepy and grouchy.
Me too. For some reason, I couldn't fall asleep until about 3:30 last night, and I had to get up at 7:15 today.
Hil, I give us both permission to go home. Work. Please. Pshaw. My alarm went off at 5:45, and I actually hit it. I'm not normally that violent.
I've got another class to teach in 10 minutes. At least they've got a quiz today, so it's just 25 minutes of teaching and 25 minutes of reading while they do the quiz.
I enjoyed Eyes.
Much better than the ads would have you believe. It's dark and funny.
and I actually hit it. I'm not normally that violent.
You are more of a morning person than I...
Woke up at some point last night with one of my weird back spasm/cramp thingies. Whatever I did to make it go away seemed to have worked, as it is only a minor twinge when I move funny now. Now if I could just remember what I did to get rid of it, that would be great. Normally I just move carefully and whine for 24 hours.
C'mon, you've always wanted one of those weird dolls from those eastern European animation thingies....
I want this one: [link] It looks so cute with its bird head and pigtails....
And the bird headed chimney sweeps are cute: [link]
Sometimes dolls loose a limb or two in a bloody accident: [link]
Sean, re: West Wing: I so yelled when Charlie got busted!!! Also, Dulé Hill needs to lose the goatee. Stat.
We had to record it so I could put the baby to bed, so I didn't see it until this morning. Oh, and in the hotel bar scene where Josh was leaning back, was he wearing karma beads? I could have sworn he was.
My TiVo rebelled and only recorded half of Eyes. I'm bummed; it got four stars, and I wanted to check out the pilot.
sarameg-my normal reaction to the alarm is more along the lines of a piteous wimper.
