Well if Jesse thinks so they should get right on that.

What is even happening?

Laura, hee! I'll xpost my own edited in comments. I meant to say, I had serious questions about it being removed, but it's been out of her for 11 days. If not eating and only drinking a dozen iced teas a day did this to her in the first place, I can't imagine she wouldn't be more damaged from 11 days without food and water.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

The weather—it doesn't suck.

Hush! You'll jinx it!

Our wings are not tired.

I used to really like Jesse Jackson, but he just annoys me the last few years or so.

Over the weekend I had delicate conversations with my mother on the subject. She is horrified that Terri is being murdered and wants her children to understand she doesn't want to be starved to death. Fortunately my mother being all sane and rational is easy to talk to when we disagree. We understand and accept each others positions. And of course I would respect her decisions on her own care.

ok, ok I misread Tom's post. I read it as "it does suck"

me, I DO misread.

I have encouraging news from a potential job. no interview yet, but encouraging comments from HR people. Plus I have a personal connection there, so this might actually be something. YAY!.

I think that's the good to be found in the awful situation--people making their desires clear. Jen said that, really early on.

I do have an aversion to removing a feeding tube of someone else, but it doesn't cause me trauma to think of it being done to me. In her case, it just seemed (to me, I mean) that there were too many questions for it to be done. Regardless, it's a little late for Jesse to be joining the party. His presence there at this point, just confuses me, entirely.
