That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

"My drink preference does not indicate my sexual preference. "

For her sake, I wish I could believe that that meant it was all over.

Ditto. I'm sick of the silly squabbles that are popping up everywhere because of this. Mrrrgha!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

except the politicians who try to exploit it.

Maybe not even them, as a large majority of the public thinks that the two Bushes and Congress should not have gotten involved. It seems to have backfired on them.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I certainly hope that is the case, tommyrot.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

To see personal and family pain bantered around for political goals is sick making.

Yeah, and the inevitable blovation about this (I totally expect to hear a whole buncha crap from the neo-con Reps and Senators about how "liberal" and "activist" the Supreme Court is - funny that you didn't think they were too activist in 2000) is going to be nausea-inducing as well.

Good morning.

I'd just like to say that people suck.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

A lot of neo-cons whose roots run libertarian are unhappy about congress and the POTUS. It's a rather large slice of common ground that has been finally shining a spotlight on the slimy nature of the current administration. Suddenly, liberals aren't hysterical, we're correct.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

BTW, I think that David will love Nadia's flashback hair. . . if he ever sees this week's episode of Alias.

JZ called me to the TV for that very reason.

And no, I don't have time to get into it, even if I could. Gotta go to work, where I get paid to say nasty things about other people's work.

Well. Probably. And this whole fiasco might cause religious conservatives to redouble their efforts to pack the Supreme Court with radical right justices.

But OTOH, this does expose Republican's efforts to mold the judiciary into their image, so I think some good will come of this as well.

I think the divisiveness of this country is gonna go up a few more notches....

This is Elian Gonzales all over again. Only, less patriotism, more catfights.
