Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Hey. New board.

I think you should go with this plan, tommyrot.

Really? I was gonna go with the "Wait until tomorrow night" suggestion. Sleep AND movie, all in one night!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Vulcans kick insane troll ass!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wow, people weren't kidding about Voyager departing from original series canon!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had Emmett all psyched up to see Kong until he heard there was a spider pit. Now he's out. He might be willing to watch it on DVD when it comes out.

This is all Shelob's fault.

Ah, the spiders in the pit really aren't all that bad. They so barely pinged me, I'd forgotten all about them.

Now, the gigantic, man-eating leeches, on the other hand....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

English muffins are yeast-raised and baked in an oven. You over-knead the dough to get the big holes.

Just about every English muffin recipe I've seen has them cooked on a griddle.

Tell him that *I'M* going to see Kong, and I'm the biggest wuss about spiders there is around here. Not that I expect that'll change his mind, but IJS.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Now, the gigantic, man-eating leeches, on the other hand....

I had one of these as a roommate, once.

I'm glad he's found work that showcases his natural talents....
