Harrow: You didn't have to wound that man. Mal: Yeah, I know, it was just funny.

It was selling epic romance, and though there was a shot of Adrien Brody and Naomi Watts kissing, those two weren't the couple the ad seemed to be selling.

Well, most of Naomi Watts' romantic scenes aren't with Adrien Brody, so I guess marketing has to sell the couple they have to work with.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Ikiru on our snow day today (well, it's ice, but you get the gist). Beautiful, heartbreaking stuff. My wife said that one is now in her top five movies.

Ever fired your gun in the air and yelled, 'Aaaaaaah?'

That Geico parody still fakes me out. Every. Single. Time.

Is the music used the theme to Doctor WHo?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Superman Returns Trailer.

The music in the trailer is from the 1977 movie.

Yeah, when I saw that in the theater the music made me feel uncharacteristically optimistic about the movie.

Please tell me that the vibe between Kong and Ann Darrow isn't as squicky in this film as in the Jessica Lang version.

Hey. New board.

I think the movie will be good. I just wish Brian Singer had stayed on X instead, because, more interesting. To m. Personally.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I figure Singer leaving for Superman Returns will mean two comic book movies I don't love.

I mean, I haven't seen a still or character shot from Superman Returns that's excited me, or at least made me feel all was right with the franchise. Brandon looks cheesier than Christopher, cheesier than Dean, and although it's fairly likely he can act better than Tom, he still looks less Super.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

psst. the real reason Superman changes clothes in phone booths is that he's an exhibitionist....

At the speed he does it, must be angling to show off to Jessie Quick or Mary Marvel then.
