Always Anti-fascist!

I'm stunned I don't know this movie, but I don't.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm stunned too: erika, you must rent this movie ASAP.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

If you can't trust a fix, what can you trust?

(And yes, rent it, stat, Erika.)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Adding to the chorus of "rent it now, erika" - you will not be sorry. Loads of great dialog performed by a nifty cast.

And, come on, it's crime fiction inspired by Hammett's Red Harvest starring Gabriel Byrne as one of the slipperiest anti-heroes to grace pop culture. I think it's the Coen's finest film. Maybe The Big Lebowski is equal.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I am getting little shivers of anticipation knowing how much Erika is going to love Miller's Crossing.

Today I am very sad because I finished watching Season One of Deadwood last night and I want there to be new episodes at home, damn it. I loved it and am buying it for future rewatch. Well, I am buying it if I can find a good used copy which I can fit into the budget. I am totally besotted with the writing, the cast, and the language.

That's my take on it, too, but so far, no go.

Season One was fantastic, though. Season Two isn't out on DVD yet?

it's crime fiction inspired by Hammett's Red Harvest

I think it owes more to The Glass Key, though Red Harvest's in there, too.

That's you all over, Tom. A lie, and no heart.

How did I miss that? Caught me during my chicklit"OMG, RossNRachelle4evah!1 "phase I bet...uh, I mean, I've always been bad. I shall rent it quickly, lest I become the very spirit of vexation.

  • "We were on a break!"=Still funny, though
