You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

For me, there's "Springtime for Hitler," and then there's everything else.

Though the two stateroom seduction scenes in The Lady Eve (first with the shoes, then with Gene* describing her dream man to Hopsy) and the train confession scene near the end, and the sequence in Unfaithfully Yours in which Rex Harrison abominably fails to carry out his revenge fantasy are awfully close.

*I've seen it spelled "Jean," but since she makes a point of stating that her full name is Eugenia, I can't see how it could be anything but Gene.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Oh, and Kind Hearts and Coronets -- "I shot an arrow into the air. She fell to earth in Berkeley Square."

The stateroom scene in A Night at the Opera.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

what movie (or mass entertainment) scenes made you laugh the hardest?

The beginning of Four Weddings and a Funeral, where Hugh Grant and cute spiky-haired girl roommate are late to the first wedding.

Puppet!Angel, particularly "My nose is made of felt....and comes off."

"Dude!!! What's mine say?"
"Sweet!!! What's mine say?"
"Dude. What's mine say?"
"Sweet. What's mine say?"
"DUDE! WHAT'S MINE SAY?"
"SWEET! WHAT'S MINE SAY?"

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Oh! Also, the Valentine's Day episode of Frasier that had David Hyde Pierce doing a silent comedy bit of 5 minutes or so. So brilliantly funny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

For me, there's "Springtime for Hitler," and then there's everything else.

I first saw The Producers as a child and loved it. As an adult I found it even more funny. But since I had already seen it, I missed that feeling of, "Wait, they're not really going to... God, yes they are!" that most people get when they see it for the first time.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

what movie (or mass entertainment) scenes made you laugh the hardest?

Two of my all-time favorite movies are Princess Bride and Young Frankenstein . I'd be hard pressed to pick any one scene out of either movie that made me laugh the hardest.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just saw an episode of House where House and Robert Sean Leonard are interviewing doctors, and after one leaves, RSL turns around and shouts "THAT'S OUR HITLER!" It made me so happy.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

"Dude!!! What's mine say?"
"Sweet!!! What's mine say?"

I think I've mentioned how my law school bowling league team's name was the Continuum Transfunctioners, and our bowling shirts had "Dude" or "Sweet" on the back, right?

Young Frankenstein

Oh, my god. "You made a yummy sound." "No I didn't." "Well, *someone* made a yummy sound!"

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

For me, there's "Springtime for Hitler," and then there's everything else.

Both "Putting on the Ritz" from YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and, especially, "The Inquisition" from HISTORY OF THE WORLD, Pt. 1 manage to top this, IMO.

Hey Torquemada, whadda ya say?

I just got back from the auto de fe!
