If you dont't got no boobies, there's nothing else the dress shows off, you know?
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Damn. Why can't I dislike him like I want to?
Because he left that Affleck fellow behind and became a better actor.
That's the corsetry.
I'm assuming that they have costumers for this piece too, although I'm not sure if they care.
That first one is a bit of...artistic license.
Unless they pulled an anti-Herbie on her in the movie, it's nothing they can't do for another one.
She doesn't really have to be large chested to look it in the movies.
ita, I think you have more faith in what a corset can do for a B-cup than I do. I was watching Sense and Sensibility the other day, and it was really obvious who had the luscious mams and who was whipping out the duct tape to pretend same.
(There was also Emma Thompson, not particularly busty at all and not trying to look it either, but the whole point of Eleanor is that you're supposed to look at the little worry lines around her mouth.)
Why can't I dislike him like I want to?
Um, he's a smoker and a skin-cancer case waiting to happen. He is short. He has been in need of an extra cheeseburger since about 2001.
Trying to help you out with reasons, here.

They changed her skin tone and even flattened her belly (!). WTF?
Unless they pulled an anti-Herbie on her in the movie, it's nothing they can't do for another one.
No, it looks like someone drew a black line down her ribcage to create that picture.

Cutlets, corsets, whatever. I don't really agree with you about the empire dresses looking like crap without above average sized breasts, but it's nowhere near impossible to fake it, if they feel the need.

Which is relevant in what way to being able to fake it for the P&P movie, should they care to?
