I hated the fantastical interludes. Hated. I saw no point to them, and it felt like pandering to the "MTV Generation" in the worst way. Anvils everywhere.
Yeah, if I could remove one thing from the movie, that would be it, for sure. Those were the things that crossed the "cool for cool's sake" line for me.
Back on EARTH, CHRIS EVANS wastes 4 minutes of our lives SNOWBOARDING down a mountain for ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING REASON.
That sequence ended with him burning off all his clothes and landing naked in a snowbank. Good enough reason for me.
