And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have not seen any of the trilogy. I am a bad film fan.

Me neither. (I don't know if it's better or worse that I'm pretty sure we own it, I just haven't watched them yet. Or maybe we don't. I can't remember.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I can't watch Blue without obsessing over Binoche's haircut. It's like the perfect haircut!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

God, yes.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I am a bad film fan.

Should there be spanking?

Amazon has the box set of the trilogy for about $30, and it's worth every penny.

That reminds me, I've tried Kieslowski's The Decalogue about 7-8 years ago and couldn't really get into it. Maybe it's time to give it another go.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

On the DVD, Juliette Binoche talks about how she turned down a role in Jurassic Park to be in Bleu.

Smart lady.

move out and draw fire

I love Bleu, but I love Rouge just a smidgeon more. The whole trilogy is great though.

Vonnie and I share a mind on this.

I also enjoy how the "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" themes play subtly. You can enjoy the movies without feeling the anvils of theme.

Compassionately intolerant

Loved, loved, loved the trilogy. So I thought I'd love Decalogue as well. Nearly had me opening a vein. Depised it to a power of ten and could not figure out how three such beautiful, finely crafted pieces of art could come out of the same man as these other pieces of something other than art.

I guess it's like birthing children. Crap shoot.
