Adaptation of the TV series? Dear Joss, please, no.

The NY Post reported that Joel Silver named her as a possible.
Quick! Someone find a photo of her at her most absolutely skeletal weight and post it where Joss is likely to run across it!
I actually like Kate Beckinsale, but my Wonder Woman is not a thin, fine-boned British woman.

Kate Beckinsale is my seekrit girlfriend, so back the fuck off.

::sigh:: I suppose you're right. I'm not sure who would be good in the role. Right now all I'm coming up with is Lucy Lawless. The irony of that casting would be priceless.

A world of no. She's gorgeous. She tipped my Kinsey in Underworld in all her corseted, PVC glory but she's so not Wonder Woman.
And Jessica Biehl couldn't act her way out of a paper bag.
We've got a Kitty Pryde. Her name's Ellen Page and I've heard of neither her nor anything she's been in.
Also: trailer for "Walk the Line."
Joaquin sounds a lot like Johnny in some of those lines. In others he doesn't. I'm not sure what to make of that.
Some of the female fanbase will be happy to see Daniel Cudmore returning as Colossus.

That's because she's Canadian & probably Nova Scotian.
But Paul Gross and CKR fans might recognize her from Wilby Wonderful.
Emily was in Wilby Wonderful, a Canadian film about 1 day in the town of Wilby. Paul Gross, Sandra Oh and Callum Keith Rennie were in it as well. I haven't seen it, but I know my Due South friends liked it and said nice things about the actress.

I think I'm going to need to see that even if his accent is iffy. (Reese Witherspoon, at least, is really a southerner, though I'm not sure what her natural accent is.) Thanks for the link.
