For me, I think I laughed hardest at the scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Indy shoots the swordsman.
For me, it's Steven Seagal's character being blown out of a disintegrating airlock contraption and bouncing off the fuselage of a plane in Executive Decision. That death scene was so satisfying I needed a cigarette afterwards.

But that was entirely for the meta of it, right? If it had been another actor, it wouldn't have been so satisfying.

The fact that this happened about 20 minutes into the film made it even better. I laughed so hard I had to pause the movie for five minutes.
Lloyd Dobler is the perfect version of the regular guy. Jake Ryan is the perfect version of the perfect guy.
Perzactly. Jake is a tabula rasa; I could never crush on him because he didn't seem real. Lloyd, OTOH, is real and goofy and the perfect boyfriend.
I think I saw Say Anything in college sometime, though, so I didn't really grow up with it hanging over my head.
My favorite death scene ever was Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea . I was slack jawed.

That movie is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. It's a slasher movie with sharks!
"We increased the sharks' brain capacity. As a result, they got smarter."
That she manages to deliver this line with a tone of, "Who could have forseen that?" makes it easily the best line of the picture.
