Thanks Matt and Candy. I'll order today.
Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I'm probably going to need to see "Fantastic Four" anyhow, because it looks bad in the fun way. Besides, it's impossible that I'll be as disappointed by it as I was by "Batman Begins."
And I don't think we should count Reese out just yet, though I agree the movies since "Election" haven't lived up to that film or "Pleasantville." It'll be interesting to see what she does over the next ten years.
When I was doing the survey on the MSNBC article, I was a little surprised how many really good movies Brad Pitt has been in, and how many forgettable ones Johnny Depp has made.
I saw Wedding Crashers last night, and it was hysterical. Not quite Zoolander, but as good or better than Starsky & Hutch.
Seeing FF tonight, and will report back.
Rotten Tomatoes already has 27 reviews up, and FF has garnered an overall average of 21%. It looks dismal.
They should have aired part of the 1994 version to the critics before showing the current movie in order to make it seem like Schindler's List in comparison.

Ha! Including Mercedes McNabb as "Young Susan 'Sue' Storm".

Check out the photo of the fans dressed like two of the FF - the guy has these prosthetic arm thingies to make it look like he's stretching his arms. Sorta.
The King Kong trailer looks like a lot of fun.
Note to Avi Arad: If you want Harry Knowles to help spread good word-of-mouth about your film, publicly calling him "Fat Harry" is probably not the best way to win him over.
Do we know that Chow Yun-fat is gonna be in PotC III ?
Casting for movies isn't spoiler info, is it?
edit for typo....
