So, War of the Worlds is really good. The special effects, anyway. The CGI was much better than Revenge of the Sith, as everything seemed real all the time, and the physics of the CGI stuff all seemed realistic.

Besided the special effects, the movie was OK, I guess. But it's worth seeing just for the special effects, and at least no one asks someone to hold them like they did by the lake on Naboo.

Total random in joke. Quentin was supposed to see "Au Revoir..." on a date, but came out with a statement along the lines of "I don't wanna see no Reservoir Dogs", and I think he just filed the phrase away as enigmatic.

Regarding WotW, I am tommyrot. Aside from a big gaping plot hole (well, at least one), the movie was generally fun.

Just do a Wiki search for Twisp and Catsby like normal folk. Wikipedia has made many site-internal boolean searches redundant.

Hmm. I'm reading reviews that are saying WotW is not a simple destruction movie, or a straight sci-fi thriller, but a sci-fi horror in the vein of Alien. I love horror.

This is making me want to watch it much, much more than I wanted to watch it before.

Confirmations? Contradictions?
