I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Jay Garrick movie would be kind of cool.

Especially if were done in the Sky Captain retro look.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Especially if were done in the Sky Captain retro look.

Exactly!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I'm down with Ryan as a Flash, though I wouldn't have picked Jay.

Compassionately intolerant

Eric Stoltz is in the new Honeymooners.

There are just tooo many things wrong with that statement.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I just did one of my periodic searches at Amazon for dvds of older movies, among them, a romp that may have been the best thing Tom Selleck ever filmed (with Angela's mom from MSCL), High Road to China. Maybe I'm not-paying-attention girl, but this is the first time a box came up to log my email addy, saying Amazon was counting requests for the studio to put this film on dvd.

Go, request. And if you think of something as yet unavailable that you'd like to have on dvd, make use of this modern technology stuff. It's an online version of that poor woman we called about Firefly and Wonderfalls. Sure, not as much fun, but hopefully as effective.

If I only had a brain...

High Road To China was an absolute charmer, and I loved Bess Armstrong. I don't understand why it wasn't more of a success.

"You *killed* my Dorothy!"

How much did I love that the planes were named for the Gish sisters?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I liked that film a lot. t scoots off to Amazon...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

My elevator tells me that Thomas Haden Church will be the Spider-Man villain. I can see him as Sandman - is that who he's supposed to be?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

They haven't announced yet which villain he's playing.

I can see Sandman, too, now that you mention it. Though I really want to see the Lizard. Or, mostly, I want Dr. Connors' presence in the last movie (missing arm and all) to have been more than just a shout-out to the geeks. Different actor, though. Unless they couldn't re-sign him.
