Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Thanks for that, Hayden. That was excellent. "It's good."

Glad you liked it! I've apparently got quite the reputation in my office for being the guy who likes The Office, because two different co-workers have brought me that article.

I finally saw Big Fish this weekend, and I feel madly and deeply in love with the movie. So wonderful.

Billy Crudup is one of my favorite actors ever, everything he does impresses me (still have not seen Stage Beauty). And Ewan MacGregor and Albert Finney were also as marvelous as always.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Late Bus pulls up

Ditto.

Plus, John Cusack.

I just saw Runaway Jury this past week. I thought this movie was pretty awesome. I liked Identity the first time I saw it, but after that I couldn't stand it. I think my favorite Cusack movie is Grosse Point Blank.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sean--I think you'll really like SB. Crudup is INCREDIBLE in it. Plus all the theater stuff is great fun.

That's what I keep hearing. I really have only myself to blame for not seeing yet.

Seanie! I thought you had seen Big Fish already, I don't know why. But now you understand my fervent burbling about it.

I know you (and Jessica, I think) kept telling me I needed to see it, but it kept getting put off and put off. I was prepared for a good movie, but I still wound up dazzled and delighted.
