Hamill also played the Trickster in the live-action Flash series.
Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Hamill would be a good 2nd choice in terms of the physical acting, but Glover's some lipstick and green hair dye away from actually being the Joker.
Cillian would have done a pretty good likeness too.
God, I find him creepy.
I'm suddenly taken by the idea of JRM as the Joker, but I understand that's mostly my thing for him and makeup. He'd make a kickass redone Riddler, though.
God, I find him creepy.
Right there with you, ita. I didn't find him so in 28 Days Later, but in this he looked like an animated china doll and made me wonder "why does he need the mask to freak his victims out?"
I think it wil pay to be well-known in Hollywood for one's lunatic creepyness when discussions of Joker casting start.
So, Tom Cruise then?
I think it wil pay to be well-known in Hollywood for one's lunatic creepyness when discussions of Joker casting start.
Hmmm. Sean Young for Harley? Probably too old and doesn't really have that pixieish quality. Still...has some lunatic creepyness. James Wood could work in this Batverse, I think.
I don't think Sean Young's allowed near a Batman movie ever.
I'm with Dana.
There are probably a lot of places where Sean Young isn't allowed in Hollywood by now.
Crispin Glover could play the Joker, you betcha.
Oh, YES.
I really hope they a: do a second; and b: do the whole Red Hood and tragic pregnant wife death thing if they're gonna do the Joker.
Sean Young for Harley?
I'm against Harley in the movies.
And pro-Alexis Denisof as Harvey Dent. They really need to remember that half of Harv is pretty as a picture.
