I still have fond memories of a great double feature at the Brattle: Buena Vista Social Club and Genghis Blues.
And when I was a pre-teen, I remember a great cheesy environmentally conscious horror pairing: Frogs and Godzilla vs. The Smog Monster.

All That Heaven Allows and Far From Heaven. Bonus; you get to laugh at Rock Hudson's jolly philosophical lumberjack do. He even sings and plays a guitar!
The original Start Wars (whatever they're calling the first one nowadys--the *first* first one) and Spaceballs!
