Interesting article on Slate about how the insurance industry runs key aspects of Hollywood production. Nicole Kidman almost got blackballed for her bum knee.
I wish he'd talked a little about the fact that HK filmmaking was under no such requirements which is exactly why Jackie Chan and Michelle Yeoh could do their own stunts.
