Well, a number of the non-brunettes in the biz are probably actually really brunettes -- so that might not be much of a gating factor.
Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Are there people out there delusional enough to think that Charisma and Joss want to work together again?
I had no idea they had issues. Huh. I'm so in the dark. That said, even I know that Joss would be unlikely to want Halle Berry in another movie of his.
Well, also something about a physical type that seems imposing and regal -- not short and squat or scrawny. Which rules a lot of brunettes out (whether they're currently brunettes or not).
Physical gravitas. Which Gina Torres still rules the roost on. I'd say Peta Wilson has it, but she's bonier than my mental WW, and I don't know how she looks with dark hair.
Lucy Lawless certainly has it, but she may be too old -- but if they go with a Basinger-aged WW, it's probably the Xena associations that work against her.
Jessica Biel does have the physicality, I just don't know if she can act.
How tall is Kate Winslet? I wonder if she could go brunette.
I thought she was brunette (naturally).
Can Winslet do that kind of physical toughness? I think of her as soft. Not that Demi Moore wasn't soft before G.I. Jane.
Oh my god. Demi Moore is going to be Wonder Woman, isn't she.
That's depressing. And she still thinks we want to see "her" breasts.
I think if Gina Torres is hitting the age barrier, Demi Moore would also have a problem there.
