An image of Brandon Routh (is that spelled right?) - in his Superman costume.
Buffista Movies 4: Straight to Video
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Here is a more complete version of the same picture. Is it just me, or is the red, really not that red?
The red is really not that red. I like it, though. What is really entertaining me, however, is the one lone little curl on his forehead, which some hair dresser probably labored over, since it is so obviously not something his hair naturally wants to do.
Yes! I remember that the Christopher Reeves Supes had the curl too - is it a detail from classic Superman comics or something?
Yep, Superman has the curl, Clark Kent doesn't.
Well, that is quite the disguise, isn't it?
Well, that is quite the disguise, isn't it?
Hey, Lois Lane isn't really all that bright.
Between that and the glasses, I'm actually not all that convinced that Clark and Superman actually are the same person.
I think that Superman's super-power of doing a perfect kiss-curl in nano-seconds has been seriously underpublicized and under-appreciated.
There's a great shot in the animated series, where CK pulls off his glasses, and the curl falls down on its own. Really well done.
