Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just heard some on-set info from Batman Begins.

Apparently, the Batmobile is that cool, and Christian Bale is that hot.

I think the dude in question got to drive the b-mobile. I need to verify.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Whoa, you might want to whitefont that, ita. It's pretty specific.

Oh, just try and make me.

More seriously though, it does sound like it may be as cool as I need it to be.

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Well, I never had any doubt about Bale once he regained the weight from The Machinist, but it's good to hear that coolness abounds.

Compassionately intolerant

King's Game was quite enjoyable. Nice performances and interesting twists. I doubt it will get a release beyond the festival circuit but, apparently, it was the highest grossing film in Denmark last year.

It features Anders Berthelsen of Mifune and Italian for Beginners, two of my all-time faves.

If I only had a brain...

I think the dude in question got to drive the b-mobile.

Yes, but did he get to drive Christian Bale?

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

From Premiere magazine;

"When I first put on the costume, it made me want to fucking growl and howl," says Bale. "I always tried to remember that initial feeling, and that the purpose of the suit is to be intimidating. To me, there wasn't any other option but to go very hard-core with it. If you don't cease to be a man, you just look like a fool."

I love this guy.

Just as I was recovering from Driving Mr. Bale, there's the fucking howling.

Really, at this point he comes off as so perfect, I'm afraid we're going to find out that the cast of Newsies is buried in shallow graves in his basement.

Wait, I said that as if it would detract from the perfection rather than adding to it...
