What I loved about
Three Kings
is a scene near the end over which plays amusingly bad French rap. Actually, that is the second-best part of the movie. The best part is that Michael Jackson rant Said Taghmaoui gets to spew to Marky Mark right before torturing him. Perfect!
I think all the mythologcial references offset the anvils somehow. I mean, legends aren't supposed to be subtle.
We were discussing this the other day at home. What, you mean every home run that hits a light (I am assured this does, rarely, happen) doesn't throw the whole stadium into velvety darkness except for the artistic sparks that highlight Our Hero as he rounds the bases in slomo??
Anyway, it's a beautiful movie, even if it is 100% hoodoo.
Plus, a funnier cow scene (albeit, much grosser) than TWISTER (where it was one of that movies only redeeming moments).
Know what WE watched last night?????
THE INCREDIBLES!!!!
I've finally watched it
for the first time
last night. It was frickin' hilarious! (I'm kicking myself for not seeing it in the theater.)
I kept telling Hubby "Let's go see The Incredibles!" but he kept shrugging it off. Still, that's what Blockbuster's for.
Still, that's what Blockbuster's for.
Amen to that. (I can rent 4 movies for the price of one ticket at the theater.)
LOVED LOVED LOVED "Jack Jack Attack" and a lot fo the deleted scenes were pretty great.
I am a sucker for gag reels and this one, IMHO, wasn't so great. I wish they would have stuck with the format they used for
A Bug's Life
and
Toy Story.
LOVED LOVED LOVED "Jack Jack Attack"
The clutch cargo cartoon was funnier -- especially with the commentary on.
LOVED LOVED LOVED "Jack Jack Attack"
I'm right there with you! I was laughing so hard - the
change in music from a waltz to the Mozart's Dies Irae
just about killed me.
I'm going to have to stop at Target on my way home tonight, aren't I?
A friend of mine bought The Incredibles yesterday at Circuit City and got an Incredibles basketball.(Ok, a mini basketball, but WANT!)
