Halloween Buffy throwdown! In a BINAO ("both" is not an option) scenario, which is your favorite Halloween BTVS episode: "Halloween," or "Fear Itself"?

If forced to pick, I would pick "Fear Itself," but it really only wins by the slimmest of margins. Possibly because of chainsaw!Giles. And Oz as God. And bunny!Anya.

But then "Halloween" has Ethan Rayne, and Ripper!Giles for the first time, and Willow being awesome in all kinds of ways.

SO HARD TO PICK. But I still go with "Fear Itself."

Yeah, I'd choose "Fear Itself," because I enjoyed the dialog slightly more.

I've been skipping through Buffy, originally intent on watching the Halloween episodes, but also watching others here and there. Prom got me good. Dang Wild Horses.

We're not even counting "All the Way" in the Halloween episode throw down? Fear Itself is one of my favorite Buffy episodes, so I would have to pick that one.
