Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

'Underneath'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It took me years to get my sister to watch SPN (seven???) and I was so scared she was going to get impatient in the first season and ask for skippage. Thank god that never happened, but she does make me tell her which episodes have Cas so she can get excited on cue.

As far as Community went, I was all YOU WILL SIT DOWN, SHUT UP, AND ENJOY THIS. And it worked on three or four other people I didn't know so well.

If someone asked me which Buffy to skip, I'd chat during Beer Bad, but I wouldn't skip anything unless it became clear an entire season was losing them, and that's also not an option until seven anyway.

(short version: I skipped...3 SPN episodes with bon bon, and still feel guilty)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If the Buffy pilot is too long I think "The Witch" is also a good one to rope people in with.

30 minutes of behind-the-scenes Buffy footage posted to YouTube by, of all people, Jeff Pruitt.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw a picture of Sophia and SMG the other day in a stuntperson article that...didn't mention Buffy. She doubled for her in an ad or something? It was weird. I like to imagine Jeff was unhappy.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That was just really confusing for me for a moment....

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

My 91 year old Mom, reading an "Ocean at the End of the Lane" review: "Gaiman sure writes a lot"

Me: "And a damn good thing too"

M91YOM: "He writes for TV too. Didn't he write a couple of Dr. Who Episodes?"

Me: "Yes"

M91YOM: "Didn't he write for Buffy?"

Me: "Not as far as I know"

M9YOM: "I think you're wrong. Didn't he co-write some of the Minear episodes?"

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

He co-wrote every Minear episode.
