"Sodomy" from Hair (the movie soundtrack), which my sister and I went to see with Dad when it came out--I was 13, she was 15. Dad was a little iffy when we fell in love with the music and insisted on getting the album, which we then proceeded to blast on the stereo at home.
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
I remember seeing Hair in the theater! Also, JC Superstar.
My sister and I memorized a lot of Broadway original cast albums, which weren't too likely to embarrass our parents. But I remember once my sister and I were in the back seat (we must have been about 11 and 13) belting out "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" from South Pacific. My dad laughed like crazy and I didn't understand why. Now I can see why two little girls singing about what to do "if a man don't understand you" is pretty funny.
Mine sing along with Assassins and Avenue Q.
I win.
My brother and I used to sing Sweeney Todd in the car.
Simalarly to Kathy, my experience is with Hair. My mother (who is a bit of a prude, actually) loved Hair and played it all the time. Until I kept pestering her with "What is Sodomy, mommy?"
She told me to go look it up in the dictionary.
The definition was "An unnatural act"
I thought about sodomy constantly until I really knew what it meant.

may I tag?

I win.
I dunno - Lilty comes awfully close.
I just watched To Shanshu in LA. Angel just cut off Lindsey's hand.
It's still cool.
