Everyone's getting spanked but me.

Willow ,'The Killer In Me'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think I would have liked it better if I didn't have to hear "Handsome Man, saved me from the monsters!" every week in the previouslies.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Well, there were only three, so.

I enjoyed the finale when we watched it on Monday. I'm glad they didn't do something like that ever again, but for a one-time diversion, it was fun. Bring back my noir vampire show now.

I do remember my head exploding at Wolf, Ram, and Hart, though.

I think I would have liked it better if I didn't have to hear "Handsome Man, saved me from the monsters!" every week in the previouslies.

Oh God yes.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I thought they were a miserable, sexist and not as funny as they thought waste of good writers and characters.

eta: I count not only the actual Pylea episodes but also all the dreck they left in their wake.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

three? it felt more like 10.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I couldn't really enjoy the Pylea eps much because the sets just looked so cheezy and Xena-leftover.

However, there are lots of good bits and bobs like Angel flipping out about sunlight, Wesley getting his sword wielding on, Queen Cordelia, Fred with bloody fist (Oooh, now I'm remembering the Stor), Numfar doing the dance of shame.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Pylea...if that had been in a less brilliant season, I'd feel both better and worse about it. As it is, I hate Pylea and most of its ramifications, but it's hard to drag down the average of how much I love the rest of the episodes.

Then again, it's tainting perfection.

OH GOD HANDSOME MAN. I think I only ever really asked Tim to do one thing to the show, and it was MAKE THAT STOP.

Numfar doing the dance of shame

Which we never see! We see the Dance of Joy and the Dance of Honor, but the Dance of Shame is in the finale, heard but not seen.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The previouslies may have had a lot to do with me rooting for Illyria when it was taking over. "Bleat at me no longer. We're done" was like saying everything I'd wanted to say to Fred for three years.

Pylea led to pancake kisses. Enough said.
