Ironically, "Normal Again" was the first ep I watched out of syndication...man was I confused!
Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!
Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.
I never think about Kate.
Heh. I rewatched season 1 a few weeks ago via Netflix. At some point I realized that almost every regular/recurring character we see in S1 is doomed. I think Kate and Faith are the only ones who get out alive. So, hey, good on them.
I took that as further evidence that Angel probably had the right idea back in Amends.
And "Epiphany" is Kate's last episode! I wonder how long it will take for Mark to stop waiting for her to come back.
There was some controversy in the comments about who wrote the "If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do" conversation, but someone linked to a podcast where Tim confirmed it was all him. Which was good because I think we talked about the line in Minearverse once, and he didn't say it was a Joss line then!
When is the Angel episode where Angel saves Kate and she tells him she didn't invite him in?
edit: OK, so we've had it already. I thought that bit would make more of an impression on Mark.
Anyone else remember cousinjean and her circle on MBTV?
I am slowly becoming convinced that Mark Watches allows just enough time between episode posts that we'll wind up watching a complete reprise of the Spike Wars, at 78RPM, in the comments.
oh man.
yikes!
I think Mark's readers will be more analagous to the Kitten Board. It's gonna be a loooong last season and change.
Maybe Joss will get some nostalgic amusement out of a handful of angry people starting a "Boycott Avengers 2 and Make Sure Joss never works in Hollywood Again!!!1!" campaign?
I'm just going to ignore the reigniting Spuffy Wars and bask in my reigniting appreciation of the Buffybot. I had completely forgotten "How is your money?", "You're recently gay," and "Vampires of the world, BEEE-ware!", but it turns out that I still love them to pieces.
I am eagerly awaiting "That'll put marzipan in your pie plate, bingo!"
