Mal: And I never back down from a fight. Inara: Yes, you do! You do all the time!

'Shindig'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But he will love Tara even more after he sees it.

Setting him up for "Seeing Red."

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Setting him up for "Seeing Red."

Well, he gets to see her brainsucked by Glory first, which I'm sure will get to him almost as bad.

Always Anti-fascist!

That will be hardest, I predict, cause it goes on longer and they say "crazy" or "insane", like throughout that whole arc. I'm also rewatching season 5 right now, though, and even I don't really want to see "The Body" again, masterful bit of television that it was.My mom kind of looks like Joyce, and she's had cancer, and I totally wasted the fruit-punch speech on that TV Tropes asshole, which, now if he dies, the sad part is, I can't claim responsibility for it.(Ironically, I am more angry about that with distance. Also, more people I know telling me how great TV Tropes is...it just makes me all "That motherless fuck!" whereas, at the time, I did what good detectives never do and got hung up on the "Why?" I guess we're never going to know.) Anyway...

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, it may be another ten years before I go near The Body.

I got a linked in request from him the other day. Ugh.

That's chutzpah. And not in a good way.

Somehow Pete had not discovered TV Tropes until this week. So he's been burbling at me about it, and I finally told him the backstory. His comment was "So that guy's a dickhead. The site is still useful!" Pragmatic, that's my spouse.

Yeah, it may be another ten years before I go near The Body.

sits next to Brenda, offers her some tea.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I agree with Pete.

Always Anti-fascist!

I used to, but somehow, as I often do, I'm having a delayed reaction to that whole thing...why now? I can't account for it. "The next conversation we have. Ain't gonna be a conversation." so, you know, there are other sites.

cereal: I suppose it's the lack of...shame. I suppose, if after that, he'd hidden from us in his home with his twenty cats, only emerging to seek, in my own non-clinical opinion, desperately-needed mental health care, then I could go back to my previous "poor bastard," stance. But, no, we're not friends, and we're certainly not contacts...you got your thrills, manipulated sincere emotions, the least you can do is be Cyber-Boo Radley and hide behind the fucking tree.
