Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Heh.

I really like Wesley a lot, even when he’s firm with Buffy later. Like, the guy is just doing his job, and I don’t blame him for doing so. Ugh, could he not die? I want to explore his character so much more.

"Your wish is granted. Long live, Jambi Joss."

Please give me one good thing, Joss Whedon.

"Did I mention it was going to be really painful? Like, the most painful character arc ever? Wait until you get to the part where Faith comes back to talk to Wesley. And that's just the tiny tip of the spearpoint."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I like how he's so worried about someone in the main cast dying in the finale when the big death is actually Snyder. Larry and Harmony also bite it (well, Harmony gets bitten, hey-o), but the main cast is totally safe.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Mark's take on GD II is significantly less asscappy.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, he did watch the last 10 minutes significantly later, right before he went onstage in...Cleveland, maybe.

Ha, someone found a Washington Post article about the delay in airing:

WB execs were concerned about the climactic scene of the season- wrapper. In it, the mayor is giving the commencement speech at Sunnydale High during a solar eclipse, which causes him to morph into a 60-foot serpent and attack the students. Buffy and her classmates defend themselves with Goth-type weapons.

As the commenter said, "Damn goths and their flame throwers."

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It's hard for new watchers to comprehend the social relevancy when they don't have the "bootleg the puppy" experience of tape trees making up for network delay of Earshot and GDII, and the "reasons" for the delays.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

WHY HAS NO ONE GIVEN ME A FLAME THROWER YET?
