We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

Anya ,'Bring On The Night'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm not a Mark fan, and even if I was up on the existence and contents of his list, I wouldn't imagine it was complete. That would be...shortsighted.

Well, then I have a more informed opinion on the matter of whether It Will Ever Be Better For Mark.

Based on that information: it won't.

He's going to watch Saved by the Bell and read Sweet Valley High romances. That's it. Then he's moving on to Who's the Boss/Xanth, followed by Charmed/Bill Willingham's work that wasn't Fables.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And then, of course, die in a fire.

Inevitably.

If he mainlines 9 seasons of Charmed while reading Bill Willingham, the fire will be a welcome relief.

My personal pick for maximum TV season/book enjoyment would probably be Buffy Season 1/The Hobbit, or There and Back Again. Though depending on my mood I might substitute A Wrinkle in Time, A Wizard of Earthsea or The Face in the Frost for the latter.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Huh. I kind of liked Fables. Not Gaiman, but a lot of fun.

I kind of liked Fables.

That's why it was excluded.

Is it dorky that my first thought upon looking was "Yay, someone besides me has those triangular bookcases!"?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love my ladder shelves, but my first thought on seeing that picture was "Want, take, have". Second thought was that I like the shelves, which are prettier than mine.

Sadly, the shelves stayed behind in Ohio when I moved to California. I loved them so much!

And that knife. Oh, that knife. That was a completely illogical purchase, but I don't regret it for a minute!
