Yeah, I think Wash's death drove home the "anyone, anytime, don't exhale" message that Joss is so fond of. Book? He just kinda died when no one was looking.
Yet? People so much less upset. Saddens me.
In my head, Cordelia's death is redeemed by Charisma's last episode which was some of the best Cordy I'd seen in a long time. Her character had gone way off the rails for me, but now I remember her more fondly than she deserves.
Yeah, right now I can't even recall how Cordy actually died. The last memory I have of her is being awesome, like you.
ita RADIATES awesome! (Says so, right there)
ita RADIATES awesome!
That's what a moon will do.
Doyle's death was the best. Yes.
Worst was Fred's. OMGWTFever. Agency-stripping drivel, it was.
Also, wasn't Cordy in a coma until her final appearance season 5? If so, she had a great send-off then.
arctic_hare (from Mark Watches) isn't anyone here, is it?
Nope.
Mark liked "The Zeppo," and I wanted to just share this bit of Markness (uncapslocked for your eyes):
Holy shit that guy is dead. That guy just came out of a grave. Did that just happen? Is this real life? What the fuck is going on? Oh my god, it’s a group of zombie frat boys. Why is this so funny to me? You’re dead, how can beer even have an effect on you? Why do you want a cake so badly? I mean, don’t get me wrong, cake is delicious and I would never truly judge you for wanting one after being dead for so long. That’s a good first choice of food. But you’re dead. Can you even taste cake???
Mark's reaction w/r/t the cake was pretty much mine, too. Well, it wasn't as well thought-out. It was more like, "Cake, WTF?"
