I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I would add that when various traveling peoples are being regularly attacked by mobs (In middle Europe) and kicked out of their homes (in all of Europe, including the UK) I'm pretty sure that continuing to use the word "gypped" is not cool.

Thrive to spite them

Mark did add to the thing about the consent

Like, I get the demon would do that, but the dynamic was still really awkward and I don’t like it and please go back to being a cute couple because I already miss it.

I'm not sure if he was thinking the writers shouldn't have gone there because it was awkward and horrible.

Did most of us realize by early S2 that the show was going to go to go there or maybe was it after Angelus came back? Part of the fun of the show was the HSQ.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Honestly, I thought not reposting the part where he says the evil soulless being is making it "awkward" made him look better, not worse.

I'm just going to guess he doesn't watch L&O:SVU, and would be quite shocked by the shenanigans.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Like, I get the demon would do that, but the dynamic was still really awkward and I don’t like it

Maybe...this is not the show for him?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah, he should just skip ahead to Supernatural (I totally fail to get that decision).

Always Anti-fascist!

Would it be mean to suggest Homicide? I think so.(Adena Watson would really fuck with his head, as she ought to...I still half-assedly wait for the confession at the end of the one with the arabber and I know better.) To say nothing of that thing with Kellerman that was purposely written to be as ambiguous as humanly possible. "You, Mark Watches, have a dark side inside of you...you've got to know the darker, uglier, parts of yourself...got to love them cause they make you who you are...anything else is just a bore, you know?" Also, there are many crazy(I mean, awkward) folks in Simonverse Balmer. Awkward as batshit in fact. He would love Bayliss, though. Although it kinda seems like he *is* Bayliss so maybe that's too weird?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He does love The Wire.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Awkward as batshit

Ha! I may have to start using this phrase.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Mark has watched and read some fairly dark shit. Including Hunger Games and The Wire and BSG.

Huh...he seems so shockable...I'd never believe it. I should read his thoughts about Snoop someday.
