Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Season 7 makes me actually scream at the TV. I avoid it as much as possible.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have never rewatched Season 7 except the series finale. I think I've seen that 5-7 times.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I've rewatched "Selfless" and "Conversations with Dead People" a fair bit too, but most of Season 7 is in that willful amnesia zone.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Whenever I do re-watches, I get to Season 6 and lose the will to put the DVDs in the machine.

Tim had never seen Buffy, so we started watching from S1 when we were dating. And we hit S6 and have just stalled out. I'm okay with stopping there, because I know what happens. But he wants to watch it all, so I just keep delaying.

Avatar (The Last Airbender), make it real!

I only started watching Buffy recently. I remember being so excited to get to S6 because of the musical.

There was a fair amount of cringing and confusion after Tabula Rasa.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I am one of the anti-cringers, I loved season 6. It represented so much of my effed up 20s to me, it was nice to see some validation that I wasn't the only one.

I loved S6 originally. Some bits were a little more cringe worthy on rewatch though, but I still like it as a season. I really didn't like much of S7 when it aired originally, but I think it holds up much better on re-watch.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I have to deal with depression enough in real life; it was really no fun to slog through season 6 showing it as well. (although the musical is and always will be sheer brilliance.)

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I gotta say, yet again, that S7 will still never be in my top 3, but it's definitely a season that improves on rewatch (and yay, I am here in company with sj, always a good place to be!). Just being able to mainline the entire thing at once instead of wait 3-6 weeks in between practically every damn episode helps hugely.
