'Soul Purpose'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

There was also the time The First Evil (I think it was) tortured Spike by repeatedly holding his head underwater. My ex handwaved it away by saying that since they're dead, there must be gases of decay building up inside them, and instead of breathing good air in, they have to breathe bad air out. He based this on something Joss once said: that what comes out of Angel won't make the trees grow. What happens if they don't and how this fits with Angel being trapped in a small box underwater for months, I don't know. I ran out of handwavium about that point.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'd just as soon Joss' understanding of biology and science in general never have anything to do with emergency medical care I'm in need of. Since Angel demonstrably can draw breath even if he doesn't need to, he'd be somewhat better at CPR than a living human being since the outgoing breath would have the same amounts of oxygen and CO2 as the surrounding atmosphere. (Though I suppose the trade-off of having your chest compressions performed by someone who's accidentally snapped doorknobs off in his hand might outweight the good...)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Choking Dru prevents her from talking, so then she can't vent the crazy and it builds up enough to knock her unconscious.

Dru is my favorite Jossverse vamp, and yet I think this theory makes perfect sense.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Ha! I always assumed the chokehold Spike gave Dru was meant to be more in the manner of a Vulcan nerve pinch. There's still got to be some kind of signals between muscles and brain, even if they're magical. ::handwave, handwave, flourish::

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Someone posted that today is Buffy's 30th birthday.

CRXY.

Heh, "fire bad, tree pretty" on Graduation Day Part 2! I only remembered it from the spiked beer episode.
