One more season, Fred Pete. Although, it's really pretty hard to tell just how much time has passed since Season 8 has started. We're up to 24 issues, so that's actually two years of real time, but how much time has passed in the comic verse is kind of amorphous. But it's chock full of interesting stuff!

I've managed to avoid the Angel comics but I am loving Buffy Season 8. I can hear the voices of the characters in my head while I read.
