I don't really have a show anymore that has (1) the necessary arc/plottiness that makes spoilers worth caring about
I occasionally look for LOST spoilers, but that's mostly because I have this misguided hope that the spoilers will help me make sense of what's recently aired.
I do remember getting accidentally spoiled by imdb about Warren's death (the actor was listed with an end date), and David very nicely lying to me and saying it must just be a mistake!
Wasn't it the Riley Returns spoiler?
Oh, is that all? No wonder I can never remember. (Not that it didn't have the potential to be explosive fandom-wise. Show-wise, dullsville.)
It still amazes me that in the first Buffy thread at Salon, before any of us posted there, someone posted the spoiler that Angel would get his soul back in "Becoming".

Heh - I remember that misdirect. I was a spoiler ho. It was fun, 'cuz that's mostly where I got to hang out with Le Nub.
I have to say, I really didn't become a full spoiler ho (at least as far as I recall) until Buffy's third season ender was pulled due to Columbine.
I had to comb the 'nets for a description of the ender that showed in Canada but not stateside. Then once I had a taste, I was pretty much hooked.
I always thought that the April bot was the underlying hardware for the Buffy bot for Spike. Building a bot takes time, but hardwiring a new personality and reusing the basic skeleton and adding a new skin would mean that the build time would be vastly cut down for Spike's Buffy bot...
CaBil is me on this issue.
