'Objects In Space'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

It felt like they tried really hard to get me to say, "Well... I didn't see that coming." But I did say it. I was hoping Bad Horse would turn out to be an actual horse so that was my happy ending, I guess.

Overall I did love it. And I feel a little naive now for not expecting a punch in the gut of some sort.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I have this image in my mind of Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer singing "Hard to be humble".

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I thought the whole thing was totally Sondheim.

Our wings are not tired.

So I read the last couple hundred posts, a third of which were technical issues, so a quick read. I saw each part at 6:30am EDT without any problem.

1. Totally worth it for the joy of reading a Nilly review.

2. Just fun and playful and silly. Didn't look for or find any deep message. Wasn't offended by any tropes. This is how I choose to watch musicals.

3. Fury and Marti! That was a fun surprise.

4. Grr Arg! Should have been sung.

5. Delightful taggable lines.

6. Talented pretty actors.

7. With song.

I'm satisfied.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Is that even a spoiler, victor? Given Joss' enthusiasms.

Which for some reason now has me imagining him singing "It's hard out here for a pimp." Verra odd.

I think if it had been more opera and less musical, the ending wouldn't have bothered me at all. As it was, it was well worth it for the apotheosis of Dr. Horrible.

Perhaps not, but I didn't want to hint at the ending.

Point taken - I edited my last post slightly in light of it.
