Time for some thrilling heroics.

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

A co-worker just told me that she saw the third act already and that it is even better than the first two.

She said, "Maybe I should actually watch Buffy now." She was kidding, I know she has seen a few episodes, but I told her to watch OMWF which she is now going to do next Sunday at Comic-Con with me. And then, "I finally get why you are so crazed for everything Joss Whedon."

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Do we still use font equals white for spoiler font? I don't want to quote any of the lines in case it needs to be in a new CSS spoiler format for people that have changed their layout.

I didn't think the second act was better than the first, but I did think it was equal in its awesomeness.

Kirsty fancies NPH after watching this. And I think I do a bit, too.

Right there with you.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'd guess that 99% of the board is still reading black text on a white background, but to be safe (and also nice to us spoiler ho's who have altered their CSS so that spoilerfont shows up grey instead!), I recommend using the spoiler quick-edit. (See the link on top of the posting box.)

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

(lowercase "s"followed by a space at the start of a line) creates spoiler or white font text to the end of the current line.

THANKS, Jessica! I've been afraid to spoiler font since the change on the off chance that I'd reveal something. I should have checked the quick-edit formatting instead of just how to.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

So I thought Act 1 was cute, but nothing too special. Act II was a lot of fun, though. Anxiously looking forward to Act III. Lots of great lines in this one and Dr. Horrible's rock anthem of doom was awesome.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Dibs on What a crazy random happenstance?!

My favorite bits so far have been "I’m moist. At my most badass I make people feel like they want to take a shower." "Is that the new catch phrase?" "The evil inside of me is on the rise."

Please God let this spoiler type work

eta: Yay!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I never heard of Dr Steel before he was mentioned here. Maybe they're just after some free publicity. Steel (and Horrible) are so obviously cut from the same mad scientist mold as (I forget his name, that mad scientist guy from The Tick cartoons). I wonder who the original long-white-lab-coat, goggles & rubber gloves-wearing mad scientist was. Dr Frankenstein?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Dr. Horrible Act 3 speculation: Kids are going to come into play. In both acts so far, Doc Horrible has mentioned his reluctance to hurt kids. I'm thinking some kids get in the way during the final battle. Hammer uses some kids as a shield or puts kids in danger or somesuch, causing Doc Horrible to lose his battle to Hammer but winning the heart of Penny.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dr. Horrible's rock anthem of doom was awesome.
