Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

Buffy ,'Sleeper'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Hee! Apt, very apt.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Was I the only one that noticed that Joyce (Kristine Sutherland) was in this week's New Amsterdam ? Or is that being mentioned elsewhere?

Boxed Set, I think, CaBil.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The Boy and I are proceeding through Buffy -- and now Angel -- and are up to S4 Buffy/S1 Angel. We watched "Hush" last night, and a comment that The Boy made inspired me to make (seriously) lolgentlemen.

Fantastic.

Wallybee and I are up to S6 Buffy. She enjoyed OMWF, and now understands why I'm so keen on it. (Incidentally, Wallybee is a rather excellent singer, and I realised her voice sounds a lot like AB's.)

Then we watched Smashed/Wrecked, and she made the comment "I think the writers have run out of ideas." Ah well.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

How do you say ACTUAL CAR CRASH in Chinese?

Visilurking

After watching half of S7 again, I now appreciate S6 much more. Just finished the 4 hour episode - Bring on the Night/Showtime/Potential/The Killer in Me - and the arc still hasn't moved that much. And I had forgotten how bad the speechifying was this season. After Buffy's like fifth speech I was muttering just ascend already.
