Heh. A couple friends and I used to Ouije on a fairly regular basis (post-college). Just for grins. My opinion is that it's totally subconscious woo-woo moving the planchette, so it doesn't feel to us like we're directing it, but we totally are. But it was always interesting to see what would come up. (Again and again. Fixate much?) One or two eerie things happened, but not enough to make me think it was anything other than... total subconscious woo-woo. But fun! I think I Ouijed with D the last time I visited, in fact. Not even a year ago.
We also found out that you don't actually need a Ouije board. In a pinch, just write the letters on a big sheet of paper, and find a pointy thing, and you're good to go.

The Boy and I are proceeding through Buffy -- and now Angel -- and are up to S4 Buffy/S1 Angel. We watched "Hush" last night, and a comment that The Boy made inspired me to make (seriously) lolgentlemen.
(The Boy has no idea what a lolcat is, or the "invisible [whatever]" meme; he just made the comment based on how the Gentlemen looked. But it made me laugh and laugh and laugh. And then make lolgentlemen.)
I wanted a picture where you could see that their feet were off the ground, but I'm lazy and I figured that anyone who has seen Hush would get it anyway.
